On December 18, 2018, in the lecture hall of the Institute, students of the Department of OMWR together with the National Center for Drug Control under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a seminar on the topic " Campaign against distribution of drugs among young people ". The event was attended by the Vice-rector for Youth Affairs Q.Shavazov, the leading expert of the National Center on Drug Control Jumanova Saodat Sodikovna, the dean of the faculty of OMWR O.Kucharov, the head of the department on youth affairs Z.Haydarov, group coaches and 156 students. The event was opened by the vice-rector K.Shavazov, who shared his impressions of the topic and gave a speech to the speaker. The speaker S. Jumanova informed about the practical actions of the country on counteracting drugs and drug trafficking, the negative consequences of drugs on human health, and the treatment and rehabilitation centers for drug addicts and drug traffickers. The event was held on the basis of questions and answers.
