The history of the department originates from the department "Russian language", which was continuously led by professor Batyrova M.A. from 1969 to 2004 After the adoption of the "Law on the state language" in the higher technical institutions began to open the department of "Uzbek tili." Thus, in 1989, the department “Uzbek tili” was founded at the institute. From 1989 to 1996, the department was headed by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Kudratillaev H. From 1996 to 2004, the Department of “Uzbek Tili” was headed by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Rakhimova K.N. September 16, 2004, as a result of the merger of three departments: “Uzbek tili”, “Rus tili” and “Chet tili”, the department “Uzbek tili wa cet tillar” was founded. Professor Batyrova M.A. was appointed the head of the department. In January 2, 2014, the department “Uzbek Tili wa Chet Tillar” was divided into two departments: “Ingliz tili” and “Uzbek Tili wa Chet Tillar”. The head teacher of “Uzbek Tili Wa Chet Tillar” was appointed senior lecturer I. Allenova From April 2015 to the present, the department is headed by Ph.D. Kilicheva, Ph.D. On April 1, 2016, the department was renamed and became known as the department of “Languages”. Professor Batyrova M.A., from 1969 to the present day, has made a great contribution to the upbringing of the future generation, helps and shares experience with young specialists. Under the guidance and direct participation of Professor Batyrova M.A. published a large number of monographs, teaching aids, textbooks on the Russian language. Currently, professor M.A. Batyrova, associate professor Kilicheva F.B., senior teachers Allenova I.V., Tasheva U.T., Yusupov E.K instill skills in teaching the Russian language. Experienced associate professor of the department Rakhimova K.N teach students the Uzbek language, the proper use of language tools, the competent conduct of business papers. Teachers of the German language Bobojonov B.A., Yakubova Sh. M. successfully working in the direction of LOGO. French teachers Saipova M.T. and Turmanov T.M. using information and pedagogical technologies, students are taught the basics of the French language.
